日本の多くの企業がCI（コーポレート・アイデンティティー）を導入し始めた頃、大学としてVI（ビジュアル・アイデンティティー）をいち早く導入した金沢工業大学のシンボルマークをデザインしました。
ここから長いお付き合いがはじまり、2023年、同大学内に五十嵐威暢アーカイブがオープンしました。
During the time when many companies in Japan were beginning to adopt Corporate Identity, I designed the symbol mark for Kanazawa Institute of Technology as they were among the first universities to implement Visual Identity.
This marked the beginning of a long relationship, and in 2023, the Takenobu Igarashi Archive was opened within the university.
