「風シリーズ」として制作している作品のひとつです。鉄の持つ重量感を出来るだけ払拭することを目指しています。事実、軽いです。風を浴び、風のように速く、風のように通り抜けたり、とイメージを膨らませた彫刻です。ご覧の通り、魚をモチーフとして、魚が持つ生命感、力強さを表現しています。北海道ですから、ニシンや鮭ということになるでしょうね。垂直に設置することで、空へ向かって飛び立つ魚になりました。

This is one of my “Wind Series” inspired by the feeling of wind, the fastness passing through. Aimed at removing the heaviness of steel, the piece is, in fact, quite light. The motif is a fish with its vitality and power. Here in Hokkaido it could be a herring or a salmon. By placing it vertically, it became a fish flying towards the sky.
