東京芸術大学のすぐ側に位置する和菓子屋・桃林堂。多くの学生が集う店に併設されたギャラリーにて、書籍「はじまりの風」とその製本のプロセス、そして、五十嵐威暢が制作した彫刻作品の展示販売会を行います。 彫刻家・デザイナーとして世界的に活躍した五十嵐威暢。書籍『はじまりの風』は、五十嵐が多摩美術大学の学長を務めていた際に、Twitter（現：X）上で学生や若いクリエイターに向けて発信した、未来への希望にあふれた言葉をまとめた本です。 書籍と作品を通し、「今」を生きるより多くの人々に、五十嵐威暢の世界を感じていただければ幸いです。

Located just beside Tokyo University of the Arts, Tourindou is a traditional Japanese confectionery shop with a gallery that has long welcomed many students and visitors.

This exhibition will feature the book “Hajimari no Kaze: Igarashi Takenobu no Kotoba no Ibuki” (Wind of Beginning: Igarashi Takenobu’s Words), together with the bookbinding process behind its creation, as well as a selection of sculptures by Takenobu Igarashi, available for purchase.

Takenobu Igarashi was internationally recognized for his work as both a sculptor and a designer. Wind of Beginning brings together words he shared on Twitter (now X) with students and young creatives while serving as president of Tama Art University. Filled with hope and encouragement for the future, these words continue to speak to those seeking their own path today.

Through the book and Igarashi’s works, we hope this exhibition will offer many more people an opportunity to encounter and experience the world of Takenobu Igarashi.
